Conclusion

Thank you for reading the Lightning Book of BOLTs. The specs will keep moving — new feature bits, new scripts, new ways to pay — and the canonical text lives in lightning/bolts, not in this compilation.

I didn’t write the protocol. The credit for every message type, every script, and every hard-won MUST belongs to the original BOLT authors and the people who still review pull requests there. This book is a reading order and a set of signposts.

If you implement something, or you find a contradiction, take it upstream. That’s how Lightning stays one network instead of a pile of dialects.
